Awakening Awakening is a process of identifying and walking with young people as they search and discover their calling in life. We believe something good happens to us when we explore, listen, share and serve. We are a part of the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. |

You can try and turn it off but it’s a hard ring to silence… Have you ever felt like God was doing something inside you, or all around you, but whatever it was it just wouldn’t come into clear focus? Then Awakening may be for you! More than a “weekend”, or even an “event,” Awakening is a journey designed to help you wander through safe spaces to ask your questions, explore your gifts and deepen your relationships, with God, yourself and others. Some of these “spaces” take shape at events and retreats, others occur in conversations with spiritual mentors, and still others through the practice of mission outreach. In general, we believe that sharing our stories, struggles, hopes and dreams provides Intentional opportunity for a soul to be awakened. |

As we worship, serve, reflect, and relate, something inside us connects to God on a deeper level and gives us new perspectives on being a follower, a leader, a disciple. Join us on this journey!
